Today, Sunday, November 27, on the 73rd day of the nationwide uprising, that has spread to 277 cities, students at Allameh, Khajeh Nassir, Melli, and Amir Kabir universities in Tehran, and Azad University in Sanandaj held protests and sit-ins, chanting “students will die, will not accept humiliation.”
Several bases of the IRGC’s paramilitary Basij and regime-sponsored seminaries were targeted with Molotov cocktails, and many regime billboards and posters of Khamenei and Qassem Soleimani, the eliminated commander of the terrorist Quds Forces were torched in Tehran, Hamedan, Ahvaz, Sheiban, and Kut Abdullah in southwestern Khuzestan province, Malayer, Ziba Kenar and Lowshan in the northern Gilan province, Yazdanshahr in Isfahan, Mashhad, Tabriz, Yazd, Bandar Abbas, Karaj, Sari in northern Mazandaran province, Anar in Kerman province, Abdanan in Ilam province, Ardabil, Zahedan, Sarbaz, Iranshahr, Rafsanjan, and Juneqan. The defiant youths also set up roadblocks on several highways. A video clip shows a uniformed soldier writing graffiti on a wall that says, “Nothing can clean blood.”
In Tehran, families of the protesters arrested during the nationwide uprising staged a rally outside the notorious Evin Prison, seeking information about their loved ones.
In Sanandaj, western Iran, students, and professors at the Islamic Azad University – Sanandaj Branch have begun their rallies on Sunday morning local time, protesting the regime’s continuing crackdown measures. They were seen chanting “Political prisoners must be released!” and “College students rather die than live in infamy!” Similar rallies and boycotts were reported at Tehran’s Amir Kabir University and Khajeh Nasir Toosi University.
In Isfahan, activists reported that truck drivers in the Shapour district have launched a strike. Truck drivers in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran, were seen continuing their strike for a second consecutive day. In Marand, northwest Iran, truck drivers joined the strike.
